mom's new camera

Mom got a digital camera for Christmas and taking pictures of cats is a favorite way to practice. These pictures were taken the week of Christmas and just after. The first one is of me. Being nonchalant is something I'm very good at. I would never stoop to posing for a picture like some people I know. For reference, see the next picture.

Wishbone, cough cough, likes to pose and has absolutely no shame about his longing to be on a lap, cuddled on the couch or, heaven forbid, under the covers of a blanket where he can't even see what's going on.
This is a good picture of Dad. Me and him are buds.
But somebody needs to talk to that dog, but I really doubt he would listen.

Poppy was rubbing her head and neck on the latch of a cabinet that Dad got for Christmas. I thought her tail was in need of a good sneak attack, so I hid behind the cabinet till I knew she was good and distracted--then I attacked.
She got mad and ran off. I also got a couple smacks for my trouble. She is such a sore sport. I was only having fun.
